The FEP tearable heat shrink tubing is made of fluorinated ethylene propylene material through a single extrusion process. It has a standard shrink ratio of 2:1, specifically designed for the shaping and welding processes of medical micro catheters. After shrinking, it tightly adheres to the substrate, and during the peeling process, it is unlikely to scratch the internal products, thereby eliminating the problem of catheter scratches at the source and effectively reducing the production scrap rate.

The heat shrink temperature and processing parameters of this product are the same as those of ordinary FEP heat shrink tubing. The existing production equipment does not need to be modified or replaced, reducing the post-processing procedures, improving the product yield and production line capacity, and being widely used in the processing of various micro medical catheters such as neurointerventional and balloon catheters.
